Gi Group have partnered up with a logistics company based in Slough who are looking for an experienced Administrator to join their team on a temp to perm basis.
The Successful person will administrative support to the daily operational activities of the warehouse and strive to maintain & enhance service provision.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the monitoring and administration of the company purchase order system.
• Monitoring & completing temporary labour time sheets.
• Assisting in the identification of service providers and maintenance of company preferred supplier list.
• Ensuring all new recruits are set up correctly and following company induction procedures.
• Ensuring company databases, recording systems and absence systems are kept updated and correct in a timely manner.
• Preparing and assisting in the collection of data for reports both internal and external
• Communicating effectively with the senior management, informing and updating them regularly on performance issues
• Supporting and assist senior management in ensuring the safe and efficient day-to-day running of the operations.
• Provide administrative support to all areas of the business as directed by the administration supervisor.
The Successful Candidate:
• Previous experience within an administration role is essential.
• Previous experience of an administration role within a warehouse or logistics environment is highly desirable
• This role requires the post holder to speak and write English to a high level.
• Ability to work in a busy logistics environment where you can juggle more than 1 task at a time will be critical within this role.
