My client is a SME organisation based in Livingston, they have enjoyed growth and development over the years and currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant to join their small but busy finance team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities will include:
- Processing sales and purchase ledger
- Daily banking
- Reconciliations
- Deal with customer and supplier queries
- Support with VAT returns
- Assist in the monthly management accounts
To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following background and skills:
- Good accounting experience, previous experience in a varied Bookkeeper / Accounts or Finance Assistant /Assistant Accountant role is essential
- Experience of working in a busy, fast paced role where you will support with tasks and projects to support the team and business as required
- Confident IT skills including MS Excel and Xero would be highly advantageous
