Security Implementation Engineer
Prestigious London based client is looking for an accomplished Security Implementation Engineer to support the Security Implementation Lead, implementing and defining a multitude of Security solutions and work across all Engineering towers to ensure a consistent approach to developing and deploying security solutions. You will work with teams within Infrastructure Operations to transition solutions into operational run status and manage technical delivery of engineering projects to the agreed scope, on time and budget. Ensure that engineering projects satisfy governance criteria. This role is outside of IR35 and will require travel between multiple London sites.
Essential:
• Cyber Security experience (Design/implementation)
• Prior Security solutions engineering and implementation experience
• Privileged Access Management
• CyberArk experience
• Policies, vaults, implementing components, onboarding accounts, ensuring controls are in-place
• Data Encryption: Vormetric
• Define technical requirements, prepare remediation designs for encryption of application data
• Network Segmentation: Illumio or Fortigate
• Design (HLD/LLD), evaluation, implementation, operational handover
• Previous experience in a Security Engineering / Implementation role
• CISSP or similar professional qualification or equivalent
• Knowledge in Windows and Active Directory security, firewalls (Traditional Layer 3), Web application firewalls (Layers 4 – 7), Java and .Net application security, VPN’s & secure design principles
• A good understanding of networking is essential: Internet, DMZ, Data Centre, MAN / WAN, Wireless, IPS & IDS, Encryption Security Technologies
• Knowledge of Azure, Amazon Web Services platforms and associated Cloud based security protocols and controls.
