Data Analyst – North West England
Prestigious North West England client requires an accomplished Data Analyst to collect and analyze data, to find patterns and actionable insights in structured large data sets. Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data. Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients. Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions. Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to write clear and concise communications
• Ability to work effectively in a global team environment
• Ability to translate complex problems into simpler terms
• Ability to work independently
• This role is inside IR35 and you will be required to use an umbrella company
Essential
• Proficiency in Tableau
• Experience with Machine Learning packages
• Some experience in cloud data warehouse technologies like Google Big query or AWS Redshift
• Experience with reporting and data visualization skills using software like Tableau or Power BI
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to QA and troubleshoot data
• Ability to set and meet deadlines and work in high-pressure situations
• Experience with Python and/or R for data analysis
• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques (including gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques)
