Salary: EUR200 - EUR230 per day
Desktop Support Analyst – Netherlands (Amsterdam)

Prestigious Netherlands based client requires an accomplished Desktop Support Analyst to support 2 different sites. You will provide a mix of 2nd and 3rd level support. Occasional Overtime available as well as a mix of remote and onsite.
The Desktop Support Analyst will resolve and report various desktop or Infrastructure problems providing 2nd line desktop support to onsite business users. Assists users and management to install, configure, and troubleshoot PC/Infrastructure Hardware and Software. Provide solutions to unique business applications and/or core application and O/S. Schedules changes to keep downtime to a minimum.
• Provide IT/Desktop support services to employees to ensure that all service levels are achieved. (Remedy)
• Adhere to system procedures ensuring they are maintained in line with standards (Legal Hold)
• Provide resource on systems projects (Change)
• To procure IT hardware & software as required and record same in the asset register (ITSP & Asset Track)
• Install and configure PC’s and network equipment (BAU, Moves & Decommission)
• To ensure the stability, continuity and supportability of your responsible technical environment (CHANGE, Systrack)
• Pro-actively build and maintain good working relationships with the Business, understanding individual department requirements to enhance the delivery of IT Services within corporate policies. (End user tech SME)
• To understand configuration and functionality of site technology (including any space where technology is consumed)
• Ensure that all systems procedures are clear, accurate and updated regularly
• To suggest and assist in implementing improvements to operational procedures and technologies
• Respond to escalations (OOO or BAU)
• Where appropriate, provide additional remote support to other regional sites
• Liaises effectively with other departments in order to support overall service
• Fluent English required
