Accountant – Manchester – Inside IR35
Prestigious Manchester based Finance client requires an urgent Accountant to deliver Sarbanes-Oxley regulatory compliant finance processes. You will provide a wide range of end to end Record to Report (R2R) accounting processes and general ledger events required to transform data into information for reporting purposes. You will participate in more complex accounting activities, documenting the detailed processes agreed, documenting the means to perform the more complex reconciliations, accruals, and allocations, taking the technical accounting guidance from the Technical Accounting team and applying it to one-time events, or new recurring transactions. This includes extensive regulatory reporting. This role is inside IR35.
Essential:
• Solid work experience background in Accounting
• Previous financial services sector experience
• Previous regulatory reporting experience
• Financial and regulatory reporting and implementation experience (Axiom a benefit)
• Proven full accounting cycle from transaction through consolidation and close to financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting applications such as PeopleSoft.
• Experience of direct customer contact, answering business inquiries.
• Strong written and oral communications skills in English.
