Technical Business Analyst - Active Directory Migration - PAYE

Gibbs Hybrid is looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support with a business-critical Active Directory Migration. The Technical Business Analyst will have a strong background in Active Directory migrations and expertise in capturing the 'AS IS' and 'TO BE' requirements and models. You will responsible for bridging the gap between business and technology, ensuring that IT projects are executed efficiently and effectively, meeting the needs of the organization. This role will be instrumental in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements and processes, while also translating them into actionable IT solutions.

PAYE opportunity, 6+mths and Hybrid – Mostly remote working, albeit with 1 to 2 monthly meetings in London. It may be expected that in the first 4 to 6 weeks of engagement, weekly travel to client sites would be required to participate in project workshops and forums.

Essential

 Extensive experience in technical business analysis, with a focus on Active Directory migration projects.
 Strong knowledge of Active Directory concepts, including domains, forests, trusts, group policies, and access controls.
 Proven experience in capturing 'AS IS' and 'TO BE' requirements and models for complex IT projects.
 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
 Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
 Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, and related tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project).
 Familiarity with IT security best practices and relevant compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
 Professional certifications, such as CBAP, PMP, or ITIL, are highly desirable.
 Banking/Financial Services sector experience helpful.
