Splunk Engineer – Remote /London – 6 weeks initial project
Prestigious London based client requires an accomplished Splunk Engineer to interface with the solution owners for each Security Solution (e.g. DLP, Antivirus, Qualys) and establish a connection between Splunk and the solution. You will install Splunk base App/Add-on for the solution and develop a custom API integration. The Splunk Engineer will develop the relevant transformations and dashboard to present and ensure data presented is verified as actual (post any transformations). This is an initial 6 weeks project with a possibility to extend and will be outside of IR35.
• Approve each deliverable with Information Security and operations teams
• The Splunk solution is on-premise running on a RHEL OS Server.
• Splunk is being used for Key Risk Indicators/dashboard presentation. Data pulled from Qualys
• No integration with SIEM. Splunk is the end point of data/Single service setup.
Essential
• Experience with configuring Splunk for Information Security KRI/KPI reporting
• Understanding of Information Security Solutions
• Familiar with scripting Language – Python 3
