An established and forward-thinking law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its friendly, respected team based in Wimbledon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced solicitor to handle a varied caseload — from the routine to the complex — with autonomy and support in equal measure.

The Role

You’ll take on a broad scope of private client work including:

  • Wills, probate, powers of attorney, trusts, and Court of Protection matters
  • Advising individuals and families on estate planning and inheritance tax
  • Managing files independently while ensuring exceptional client care
  • Liaising with financial institutions, tax advisors, and external experts
  • Playing an active role in team collaboration and business development

What the team are looking for

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in private client work
  • Demonstrable experience in core areas including wills, trusts, probate, and mental capacity matters
  • Confident in running a caseload unsupervised and in mentoring more junior members when needed
  • STEP membership is highly desirable
  • A proactive, ambitious mindset with the ability to build lasting client relationships
