A leading firm is seeking a Court of Protection solicitor (NQ–3 PQE) to join its expanding team, known for its work supporting individuals and families following catastrophic injury, including serious brain injury and high-value compensation awards.

Working alongside litigation teams, the department advises on financial and welfare matters, including deputyships, personal injury trusts, care funding, and capacity issues. The role offers a varied caseload and the opportunity to build long term client relationships, often acting as a trusted adviser to families navigating complex needs.

You’ll be responsible for managing client affairs, drafting Court of Protection applications, supporting expert and OPG reports, and liaising with case managers and families. Supervision and mentoring are provided, with scope to grow into a senior position with mentoring and leadership aspects in the future.

The team is recognised in the Legal 500 for its client-centred approach and collaborative ethos. A working knowledge of OPG standards is essential; STEP qualifications are advantageous.
