An ambitious commercial property team spanning multiple offices is looking for a technically capable Real Estate Solicitor to join its Guildford offering. You will advise on commercial property and residential investment matters, managing your own files and contributing to the team’s fee-earning targets while delivering high standards of client service.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on and progress commercial property transactions; draft and review leases, sale/purchase documents and finance-related paperwork.
• Identify and resolve legal and transactional risks; provide pragmatic, commercially focused solutions.
• Ensure compliance with AML/KYC and regulatory requirements; maintain excellent file management and accurate time recording.
• Build a developing client/referrer base and spot opportunities to refer work across the firm.
• Supervise junior staff and cover for colleagues as required; support marketing and practice development activities.

Skills and experience

• Qualified solicitor (LPC+PSC or SQE route) with solid commercial property experience.
• Strong technical accuracy, commercial awareness and an ability to manage multiple transactions to deadline.
• Clear communicator, organised, and comfortable working independently and within a team.
