Connaught Education is working with an exceptional British Independent School, based in the island paradise of The Bahamas to appoint an Art Teacher on a permanent basis from August 2026. The appointed Art Teacher will primarily work with pupils from KS1 to KS3.
This premium school is the only independent school on the island to be a member of the world’s largest and most prestigious independent schools’ group, bringing with it outstanding opportunities for both staff and pupils.
The school initially opened in 2022 to 350 pupils and has added a further year group each year, next year will see the first intake of Year 11 pupils, the school is extremely popular and forecast to continue growing.
The school boasts world class facilities for day and boarding pupils on its new, purpose-built campus, these include everything from modern science laboratories to dance studios, swimming pools and a full-size football pitch.
The role is suitable for someone with QTS, a strong academic background including graduation from a Russell Group University, strong A-Level and GCSE results and a demonstrable track record of teaching at top UK or international independent schools.
