HGV Plant Technician/Mechanical Fitter
An experienced Apprenticeship trained/time served HGV Plant Technician/Mechanical Fitter required for a busy workshop
This will be working on DAF trucks,Trailers, 8 wheeler, 6 wheeler and Arctics
lead inspections of vehicles
Complete job sheets and documents
MOT Preparation
Liaise with drivers and the service department
Previous working experience
To work on your own initiative and within a team
This will be working within the workshops in a recycling plant
Hours are either 6 am to 3 pm or 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday
You would be required to be on call 1 in 4 but this is very rear and flexible
The salary is between £28,000 and £30,000 including holidays and pension contribution
