• Manage financial controls end-to-end, ensuring accurate SOW governance and milestone validation
• Oversee PMO administration, including resource management and onboarding processes
• Support governance and reporting, maintaining schedules, registers, and executive updates

Role Summary
Our client seeks a highly organised, process-driven project PMO professional with a strong focus on financial controls and governance maturity. The successful candidate will manage contractual compliance, financial approvals, and documentation standards within a complex, technology-enabled program environment. With a requirement for 3 days per week in the office, this role demands close engagement with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. The role needs calm confidence, sharp attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee SOW governance, milestone validation, and invoice controls, ensuring alignment with contractual scope and deliverables
  • Maintain a comprehensive SOW register; coordinate approvals with Procurement and Shared Services
  • Support governance cadences by scheduling and coordinating meetings, producing executive updates, and maintaining RAID registers
  • Drive governance maturity by standardising documentation, access controls, and artefact management across platforms
  • Support PMO administrative functions, including resource onboarding, account management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to refine PMO processes, financial controls, and documentation standards

About You

  • Experienced in project support or PMO roles within technology or complex program environments
  • Skilled in financial governance, contractual compliance, and stakeholder management
  • Proficient with Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with financial systems, invoicing, or procurement workflows - e.g. Experience with Coupa is a bonus!
  • Calm, methodical, and process-driven with excellent communication and influencing skills 
  • Trustworthy, organised, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset
  • Not afraid to question, query or challenge in a respectful way 
  • Tertiary Degree in IT or other relevant discipline 
  • Relevant qualifications such as Prince2, PMP, or Agile certifications are desirable
