Project Manager - Field Services / Workforce / Works Managememt / VMS 

  • The role involves leading the implementation of a new Contractor Portal / Works / Workforce Management System, such as SAP Fieldglass 
  • Currently in the evaluation phase of multiple platforms or considering an in-house build 
  • Success depends on strong stakeholder engagement, effective communication, and delivering a user-focused solution.

Role Summary
Our client requires a project manager to oversee the deployment of a contractor portal for work management, such as SAP Fieldglass. The candidate will coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring that project milestones are met within a collaborative environment. The delivery approach has a strong focus on stakeholder and end-user engagement, especially around user experience. Key stakeholder groups include business users, platform vendors, and internal technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans and schedules aligned with platform evaluation and implementation.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement, balancing business needs and technical feasibility.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and vendor relationships.
  • Track progress and prepare governance reports for decision-making.
  • Support change management processes, including stakeholder communication and end-user training.
  • Assist in ensuring solutions meet user experience and operational expectations.

About You

  • Experience managing change projects within workforce management or field services environments - e.g. SAP Fieldglass or Xugo or similar 
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with clear and calm communication.
  • Customer-centric mindset, with UX/UI awareness and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative attitude, low ego, proactive and energetic.
  • Familiar with project delivery methodologies (Agile, hybrid preferred).
  • Knowledge of platforms like SAP Fieldglass, workforce management systems, or similar is advantageous.
  • CT/PRINCE2, Agile certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
