Role Summary

Our client, a well-established global professional services organisation a is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to take ownership of identifying, shaping and delivering improvement across the business. This is a new capability and you will play a key part in understanding how the business works, spotting opportunities, prototyping solutions and partnering with technical teams to make them real. Working closely with senior stakeholders and technical colleagues, you will provide hands-on leadership across process improvement, solution design and the practical use of emerging technology including AI. This is not a traditional business analyst role. It is outcomes-focused and suited to someone who wants to grow a function rather than apply a fixed framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage senior stakeholders to understand goals, pain points and priorities across the business.
• Map and improve business processes with a focus on real outcomes, not documentation for its own sake.
• Identify improvement opportunities, build the case for change and drive continuous enhancement.
• Prototype solutions and test ideas quickly in a less structured environment.
• Collaborate with technical teams to turn concepts into working results.
• Grow the capability as the firm's maturity in this space develops.

About You

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication, with the confidence to work directly with senior leaders.
• A track record of understanding, mapping and improving business processes, focused on outcomes.
• Commercial sense and genuine business acumen.
• Technically minded or technically curious, with the ability to prototype and work closely with technical teams.
• Experience or exposure in AI, a key focus area for this role.
• The flexibility to wear multiple hats and adapt in an evolving environment.
• The right attitude: agility, curiosity and the drive to grow with the business.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to professional services environments.
• Experience with systems such as D365, similar financial systems or HRIS (not essential).
