IT Operations Manager required for a 3-6 month contract role.

Hybrid role of working from home and regular site/office visits.

My client is looking for an individual to join and be responsible for all the technical aspects of the infrastructure and communication systems, to continuously maintain said communication systems, multiple data centres, offices, and client sites throughout Ireland.

You will be responsible for the IT performance throughout all the services and act as the inspirational leader to the IT team in Ireland, with Technical Support & direction from the UK IT Team. You will need to show continuous support and management through your expert team, with a key focus on the business day to day operations and commercial growth.

You will work closely with colleagues in the UK and will own and lead the delivery of the technical aspects of projects in Ireland.

Requirements:

• Experience in IT networking & infrastructure
• Held or holding a senior position within a technical team
• Recent experience managing or leading a small team
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, ensuring that the IT Team’s resources are best utilised.
• Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

• Cisco, networking, routing, security
• Wintel server
• Microsoft Infrastructure Services
• Cloud Services (Azure/ AWS)
• Picture Archiving & Communication System (PACS) and ancillary systems, Radiological Information System (RIS), voice recognition, advanced visualisation
• Imaging Standards (HL7, DICOM)
• SQL Server administration
• ITIL (IT service management)
