Our client , who operates in the sports betting and gaming industry, has a requirement for an experienced Systems Administrator on a full time basis.

You will work remote for the majority of the week but will be required onsite for 1-2 days.

The Systems Administrator will ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links. The System Administrator will also analyse and resolve end user software program and connectivity issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.

 Experience required:

• 3-5+ years’ experience in system administration, networking, or related capacity
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Certifications in Microsoft and Cisco preferred.
• Scripting experience - PowerShell
• Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including Cisco and Microsoft VPN solutions, ftp, http, ssl and dns.
• Experience of building and managing servers both physical and virtual, preferably HP.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP network protocol - ip addressing, subnet masking etc.
