We are excited to be working with a long standing client on their search for an experience Crewing Officer. This role is based on site in Aberdeen. Your main responsibility will be to facilitate and manage crew changes by providing crew and ships with their travel requirements incorporating certification/ training whilst complying with health & safety rules, procedures and accepted safe work practices. 

Role 

• Arranging crew travel for on and off signing crew and management of crew travel costs.
• Ensuring that crew members documents (i.e. passport, visa, certificates of competency, medical certificates, etc.) are valid and in date;
• Address and solve crewing problems for assigned vessels.
• Ensure the vessels are manned in accordance with the vessel policy.
• Booking of medicals: ENG1’s, fit to return to work medicals, consultations, etc.
• Keep the computer based personnel system up to date with all relevant information;
• Visit assigned vessels.

 Person 

• Education at higher vocational level.
• Previous maritime experience.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and work to deadlines.
