Applicants must hold full General AHPRA Registration and be currently living in Australia.

We are particularly seeking Psychiatry Registrars with experience or interest in:

• General Adult
• Community
• Forensic
• Acute
• Psychiatric Emergency Care
• CAMHS
• Inpatient Psychiatry

Expected Role & Responsibilities

Depending on the placement, responsibilities may include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments
• Participating in ward rounds
• Developing and implementing management plans
• Prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications
• Working within relevant NSW Mental Health legislation, policies and clinical frameworks
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Completing clinical documentation and discharge summaries
• Providing ongoing assessment and management of patients within the treating team
