cmr is looking for experienced Perioperative Registered Nurses to join our travel nursing team for short-term contracts across regional, rural and remote Queensland.

From Mackay to Cooktown, Thursday Island and beyond, these contracts give you the opportunity to experience different hospitals, communities and clinical environments while continuing to work in your area of expertise.

THE ROLES

We are seeking experienced nurses across a range of perioperative specialties, including:

• Scrub/Scout
• Anaesthetics
• Recovery/PACU
• Perioperative All-Rounder
• Endoscopy
• Cardiac Cath Lab
• Day Surgery

A key requirement for these positions is the ability to undertake ward redeployment when required, particularly when theatres are down or operating lists are reduced. You will need to be confident working outside the theatre environment and able to safely utilise your broader acute nursing skills.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 2 years' post-graduate perioperative experience
• Recent experience in your relevant perioperative speciality
• Confidence working across different hospital environments
• Ability to undertake ward redeployment when required
• Strong communication and adaptability
• A willingness to travel and work in regional, rural or remote locations
• Current or recent NUM reference
• Current Police Check
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) where required
• Mandatory training, immunisation and compliance documentation as required by the hospital
