Production Operative

Location: Aldridge
Pay Rate: £10.85 - £12.71 per hour
Job Type: Temporary / Temp-to-Perm / Ongoing
Shifts: Days - 37.5 hours per week as standard

The Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturer of cardboard packaging, is currently recruiting Production Operatives to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, offering ongoing work with the potential for permanent opportunities.

Key Duties

• Operating bespoke cardboard manufacturing machinery (full training provided)

• Assembling cardboard packaging products to specification

• Using hand-held tools such as staple guns and glue guns

• Carrying out quality checks

• Packing finished products

• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

• Meeting daily production targets

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production (preferred but not essential)

• Comfortable using hand tools

• Good attention to detail

• Reliable and punctual

• Able to work as part of a team

• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
