We are currently recruiting reliable Refuse and Recycling Operatives to join our client across sites in Carlisle and Penrith. We have multiple opportunities available on both day and night shifts.

Due to the locations of these sites, own transport is essential as there are no public transport links available to either site.

Carlisle

Working Hours

• Tuesday to Thursday 5:45pm to 6:15am
• Friday to Tuesday Various shifts between 6:30am and 4:00pm
• Monday to Friday (split shifts) 6:00am to 10:00am and 1:30pm to 5:30pm

Duties

• Sort and separate recyclable materials from non-recyclable waste.
• Clean and organise the site and machinery (full training provided).
• Operate machinery and equipment used in the recycling process.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials.
• Follow health and safety procedures while wearing the required PPE.

Penrith

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 4:00pm
• Weekend work may be required when necessary.

Duties

• Load waste and recyclable materials into collection vehicles.
• Work as part of a small team to complete duties to a high standard.
• Follow health and safety procedures while wearing the required PPE.
• Complete physically demanding work on a full-time basis
