You'll be joining a global property and project management consultancy with a $6B pipeline.
This global property and project management consultancy is a recognised leader in delivering large-scale construction and capital works programs across Australia.
You’ll be embedded within a long-term client-side environment, managing a portfolio of projects for a major national organisation with a substantial, ongoing property and infrastructure program.
The work is stable, repeat-driven and varied, with multiple projects running at different stages at any one time, not one-off wins, but an active pipeline that keeps momentum in your role.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take full ownership of up to 8 construction projects at various stages, managing everything from early establishment through to handover and close-out.
This is a true end-to-end Project Manager role where you’ll be trusted to lead consultants, contractors and stakeholders, manage budgets and programmes, and drive delivery outcomes with minimal handholding.
You’ll also play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard.
Must haves for the role
- Minimum 4–6 years’ experience delivering construction or capital works projects.
- Strong experience within a project management or construction consultancy environment.
- Proven end-to-end project lifecycle experience from initiation through to completion.
- Confidence managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong cost management, reporting and programme control capability.
- Ability to lead consultants, contractors and stakeholder groups.
- Degree qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar.
- Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship required).
- Experience working in client-side or embedded PM roles.
- Strong commercial and contract administration experience.
- Exposure to tendering, value engineering and procurement processes.
- Experience chairing meetings and managing governance groups.
- Comfort stepping up to run projects in the absence of senior leadership.
