Office Manager (Project management consultancy) (3565518) Darlinghurst, Sydney, Australia
| Salary: | AUD90000 - AUD120000 per annum |
You’re probably in a role where you’re keeping everything together… but not getting the recognition (or variety) that should come with it.
If you enjoy being the person everyone relies on, the one who knows what’s going on, keeps things running, and makes life easier for the team this is where you step up and own it properly.
This is a business small enough that you’ll see the impact of what you do every day, but established enough (10+ years, projects into the $100Ms) that you’re not dealing with chaos for the sake of it.
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
This isn’t a narrow “admin” role.
You’ll sit at the centre of the business, working directly with leadership and supporting a high-performing project team.
Your week will include:
- Running the day-to-day operations of the office
- Supporting the CEO with diary management, scheduling and coordination
- Owning invoicing, accounts admin and financial processes
- Managing timesheets, staff admin and internal reporting
- Keeping CRM and internal systems accurate and up to date
- Supporting the wider team with operational and administrative needs
- Improving systems, processes and contributing to business efficiency
- Acting as a key point of contact for staff, clients and external stakeholders
And the big one…
You won’t just maintain systems, you’ll improve them.
Which means you’ll shape how the business operates as it grows.
Where you’ll be doing it
You’ll be based in a newly fitted-out office.
The team sits at 14 people with plans to keep growing.
They’re delivering projects across education, health, retail and commercial, often punching well above their weight, with projects reaching into the hundreds of millions.
It’s a close-knit environment where people enjoy working together, support each other, and don’t operate with layers of red tape.
Is this you?
You’re someone who:
- Is highly organised and naturally takes ownership
- Can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
- Communicates confidently and professionally
- Enjoys being the “go-to” person in a team
- Likes variety rather than repetitive tasks
- Wants to be part of a growing business where you can have real influence
What you’ll need
- Experience in an Office Manager, EA, Operations or Business Support role
- Confidence supporting senior stakeholders or leadership
- Exposure to invoicing, accounts admin or financial processes
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate records
- Strong admin skills across reporting, timesheets and documentation
- Solid Microsoft Office skills and general systems confidence
You’ll need to be in the office 5 days a week, this is a role where being present matters.
What’s in it for you
- A role where you’re genuinely central to the business (not just “support”)
- Direct exposure to leadership and decision-making
- A growing consultancy where you can shape systems and processes
- A team that values reliability, ownership and collaboration
- A brand-new office in a great location
