Outreach pharmacist

8-week contract available in rural Queensland supporting outreach centers.

Role Overview:

• Based in Mount Isa with regular travel to outreach facilities including Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Normanton, Cloncurry, Camooweal, Dajarra, Julia Creek, Karumba and others within the HHS.
• Travel varies – may be weekly trips (some overnight), mix of fly-in and drive locations.
• Travel resources (flights/cars) provided for outreach work.

Duties Include:

• Medicines management across outreach facilities
• Stocktakes and strong inventory management component
• Education and multidisciplinary collaboration with nursing and medical teams
• Acting as the pharmacist support for sites without an on-site pharmacist

Key Requirements:

• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage complex stakeholder relationships
• Prior QLD Health system experience essential
• Full APRHA
