We’re seeking a Senior Data Privacy Officer to drive enterprise-wide privacy strategy and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This is an exciting chance to lead privacy initiatives that have real impact, embedding best practices and governance frameworks across the business.
About the role
- Lead the development and implementation of a group-wide data privacy strategy and framework.
- Ensure compliance with privacy laws across APAC, and other relevant jurisdictions.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments, audits, and risk reviews to identify and mitigate exposure.
- Provide expert guidance to executive leaders and act as a trusted advisor on privacy matters.
- Drive privacy awareness programs and training initiatives across all business units.
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to embed privacy controls in technology and digital transformation projects.
- Support privacy integration during acquisitions, new ventures, and partnerships.
About you
- Proven track record of managing privacy frameworks and compliance initiatives.
- You are capable of advising executives and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Extensive experience leading privacy programs in large, complex organisations.
- Deep understanding of global privacy regulations (Australian Privacy Act and GDPR).
- Strong ability to embed privacy into cloud, AI, and digital technology strategies.
