Psychologist (Registered or Clinical)
Location: Salamander Bay, Port Stephens NSW 2317
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time – Contractor or Employee | 2–5 days per week
Salary / Benefits: Circa $130k p.a. + Super (negotiable depending on experience) | Office space in Newcastle Toronto, and Argenton | Flexible scheduling and start times | Peer support and admin handled internally | Up to 3 weeks Christmas leave given upfront

Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is representing a long-established private practice (14+ years) with a strong community reputation, well-established referral pathways, and a thriving client base. There is significant demand for neurodivergence assessments, as well as talk therapy (CBT, DBT, family therapy).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct neurodivergent assessments (ADHD, ASD) and educational, and developmental assessments
• Provide therapy across modalities including CBT, DBT, and family therapy
• Deliver high-quality psychological assessments and reports
• Engage with children, adolescents, and adults across diverse presentations
• For Clinical Psychologists Supervise provisional psychologists

Requirements

• AHPRA registration as a Registered or Clinical Psychologist
• Strong skills in assessment and report writing
• Experience or strong interest in ADHD / neurodivergent assessments
• Proficiency in CBT, DBT, or family therapy
• Commitment to collaborative, client-centred care
