Job Details for Benefits Specialist

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8AM-5PM, Temporary 12 Week assignment
  • Pay Rate: $25/hr (Negotiable based on experience) 
  • Health Benefits & Wellness Program

 

Job Responsibilities & Description for Benefits Specialist:

  • Administers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and other insurance plans.
  • Communicates all benefit information to current employees and retirees. 
  • Handles enrollments and termination changes in the active payroll system.
  • Ensures timely enrollments ans terminations.
  • Reconciles benefit enrollments to vendor invoices.

 

Job Requirements for Benefits Specialist:

  • Ability to perform mathematical computations with speed and accuracy. 
  • Excellent communication and computer software skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Have a strong attention to detail while working in hit specific deadlines.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
