Online Marketplace Assistant

Roles available: 2x

Salary: £18,525 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, 2 days working from home 

Location: Grantham, National Distribution Centre, Barkston Heath NG32 2DE

These roles could suit a Retail Assistant or Ecommerce Assistant, you could own your own Etsy or have worked in charity retail.

We are looking for a hard-working individual with excellent IT skills to support in all aspects of the operation, stock sorting, photography, listing, and dispatch.

Some of the key duties you can expect to have are...

  • Creating detailed product listing cards for each item in preparation for listing  

  • Ensuring all listings have an accurate and enticing description 

  • Unpacking deliveries and sorting items into the correct categories 

  • Prepare customer orders for dispatch – this includes lifting and moving stock of different weight and sizes where appropriate 

  • Picking, packing and sorting sold items within the dispatch department

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to positively influence

  • Proactive and dynamic approach

  • Proficient in IT, including the use of databases and Microsoft packages

  • Experience of working with targets 

  • Excellent eye for detail 

  • Proven ability to use own initiative 

  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining high standards 

  • Excellent time management
