The Company
Specialising in commercial refurbishment and new build construction projects this builder are fast becoming known as the 'go to' within the hospitality sector here in NSW. Due to a number of recent project wins they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team.
The Role
Reporting to the Construction Director, the Project Manager is responsible for planning and supervising construction projects from start to finish, overseeing construction procedures and ensuring the project is delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.
Requirements:
- Degree or Tertiary Qualification in Building/Construction Management or similar
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as project manager in the construction / refurbishment industry
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
- Comprehensive understanding of quality, safety and environmental standards
- Experience with procurement and management of design consultants including cost planners and certifiers
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, MS Project and Procore (ideally)
