Part of a high growth industry, this large international organisation are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team in the CBD 

Responsibilities

• Preparing journals and monthly balance sheet reconciliations and timely completion of month-end processes
• Working closely with the broader finance team to ensure month-end processes and reconciliations are completed on a timely basis
• Assist in the preparation of certain notes required for half-year and annual statutory financial statements
• Identifying and driving continuous process improvements
• Assisting with the transition to a new ERP, including creating business processes and reconciling data
• Assisting with recurring and ad-hoc queries from the business

 Requirements

• CA Qualified with sound technical accounting knowledge applied to financial accounting disciplines 
• Excellent communication skills
• Possess a problem-solving mentality and ‘can do’ attitude with track record of process improvements
• Ability to be flexible and deal with changing priorities
• Advanced Excel skills
