Warehouse Operative - PPT Driver

Staffing Match are proud to be working in partnership with a leading retail supplier in Lutterworth– LE17, who are looking for warehouse operatives to join their team.

About the role as a PPT Driver:

• CHILLED ENVIRONMENT – YOU MUST BE OK WORKING IN A COLD ENVIRONMENT!
• £10 PER HOUR DAY RATE
• £10.50 PER HOUR NIGHT RATE
• 4 OUT OF 7 SHIFT PATTERNS – 10 HOUR SHIFTS
• DAY SHIFT: 0600 – 1600 / 0800 – 1800
• NIGHT SHIFT: 1900 – 0500
• FULL TRAINING PROVIDED – NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
• SECURE ONGOING POSITIONS (WITH PERMANENT CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES)

Your responsibilities as a PPT Driver:

• Working in an extremely busy and fast paced chilled environment
• Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
• Reading labels and ensuring stock is distributed to the correct areas
• Order picking, packing, checking & labelling
• Stock Checking and rotating
• Working towards set daily productivity targets
• General warehouse duties
• You will be reporting directly into the shift and team managers.

The ideal PPT Driver profile:

• Ideally you will have warehouse / picking experience- however this is not essential
• Great attention to detail
• Reliable with a desire to succeed
• Target driven / motivated
• Good English communication
• Initiative and the ability to solve problems
• Able to work in a chilled environment
