Application Support Analyst – Trinium TMS

One of our Logisitics & Supply Chain clients is seeking an Application Support Analyst, responsible for the daily support, optimization, and enhancement of the Trinium Transportation Management System (TMS) and related applications. This role ensures seamless platform operation for transportation, logistics, and supply chain processes. Acting as the first line of support, the analyst will troubleshoot user issues, resolve system errors, and collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors on complex problems.
The analyst will manage system configurations, updates, and improvements to align Trinium with business needs. They will work closely with operations teams to enhance workflows and maximize system efficiency. Additional responsibilities include training end-users, creating documentation, assisting with system upgrades, performing quality assurance testing, and supporting integration with other enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience with TMS platforms, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders while ensuring smooth system operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, troubleshooting technical and functional issues.
- Respond to user inquiries via tickets, email, or phone.
- Escalate complex issues to internal IT teams and vendors as needed.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime.
- System Configuration & Optimization
- Perform system configurations and updates.
- Assist with EDI data integration.
- Implement new modules, workflows, and features.
- Optimize system processes for efficiency.
- User Training & Documentation
- Train end-users on system functionality and best practices.
- Develop and maintain user manuals, training guides, and FAQs.
- System Enhancements & Updates
- Identify and implement system improvements.
- Test patches, updates, and enhancements before deployment.
- Support system rollouts, migrations, and integrations.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain data integrity and perform data clean-ups.
- Generate reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
- Analyze system data to identify trends and inefficiencies.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work with operations, IT, and business teams to provide system solutions.
- Act as a liaison between end-users and vendors.
- Provide updates to management on system health and open issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-4 years of application support experience, preferably with TMS.
- Experience with Trinium TMS or similar logistics/supply chain software is a plus.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, system configuration, and user support.
- Strong understanding of transportation, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- SQL knowledge for data querying and reporting is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement.
