A fantastic opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified Financial Accountant to join a market-leading business based at their site on outskirts of North Allerton, North Yorkshire. 

Reporting to the Financial Controller within a fast-paced, manufacturing business, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Reconciliation of customer accounts including discounts and promotions
• Management of site asset register and capital expenditure
• Management of sales ledger process and credit control process
• Collation of the annual Tax Pack
• Processing employee expenses
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders
• Liaison with Internal and External auditors
• Assist the Financial Controller and General Manager on ad hoc project work

To be considered for this Financial Accountant position and be successful in the post, you will need the following:

• CIMA /ACCA / or ACA qualification or part-qualified or qualified through equivalent experience
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work under pressure and to specified timescales
• Ability to set own deadlines and work without supervision
• Strong IT skills
