Organisation Information: 

This organisation has an opportunity for a skilled Medical Officer to join their team in Charleville. Their Charleville Base provides remote medical consultations, aeromedical retrievals and primary health care clinics incorporating general practice, child and family health, health promotion and field days.

Located in southwest Queensland, Charleville is 683 kilometre west of Brisbane with a population of over 3,000 people. This picturesque town seats on the banks of the Warrego River and is the main centre for the Shire of Murweh. Charleville offers many opportunities including two primary schools, one high school and the Charleville School of Distance Education. Other facilities include the Royal Flying Doctors Service of Australia museum, Bilby Reserve, Cosmo Centre and much more. 

 
 
Position Description:

About the role:

  • Live in role in Charleville with Accommodation + Remote area allowances or Fly in fly out (FIFO) of Charleville with Accommodation and vehicle use

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you should have:
  • Registration with AHPRA as medical practitioner
  • Minimum 5 years post graduate experience
  • 6 months experience in Intensive Care
  • 6 months experience in anaesthesia
  • 6 months experience in paediatrics
  • 6 months experience in emergency medicine
  • Obstetric experience (Desirable)
