Core Talent are currently recruiting for a reputable Tier 2 Civil construction company, they are a family-run Construction and Engineering company specialising in the delivery of complex infrastructure. Delivering over $1 Billion in infrastructure across some 300 projects.
About the Role
As the Site Supervisor you will be reporting to the Project Manager. Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Implementation, monitoring, reporting of the companies HSE systems.
- Manage the day to day operations onsite
- Management and maintenance of all company owned, leased, hired plant and equipment
- Leading and managing a team of leading hands, plant operators, skilled trades, labourers and apprentices
- In conjunction with the Project Manager and Engineers oversee and execute the site construction program and activities
- Liaise with onsite Subcontractors, vendors and suppliers to ensure all interfaces are identified and managed
- In conjunction with the project engineers ensure all work is conducted as per contractual requirements, safely, to a very high quality on time and on budget
Skills and experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in civil construction site supervision
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes
- Understanding of construction programs
- Solid grounding in trades related to civil construction
- A deep appreciation of the importance of understanding and implementing HSEQ Management Systems
- The ideal candidate will have experience working on sewerage treatment plants or dam projects
