A nationally recognised organisation in the Education Industry are seeking a highly competent Payroll Manager to join them on a permanent basis. They are going through continuous improvement, growth and innovation, and therefore need an experienced Payroll Manager on board. The role will involve not only managing BAU processes but also looking at streamlining processes and making crucial payroll improvements.

About the Role

Overseeing a team, this role will require you to undertake the following:
  • Oversee the team and all Payroll BAU 
  • Effective communication with third party providers, particularly pre and post implementation
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation strategies
  • Extensive configuration and payroll testing
  • Ensure effective on-time service delivery for the function
  • Executive decision making capability
  • Ability to identify gaps and provide opportunities in the function
Skills + Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar management role is essential
  • Experience using Chris21 or iChris is also essential
  • Experience across a large system implementation is desired
  • Experience with systems configuration
  • Experience with payroll systems testing and reruns
  • High level of knowledge in payroll compliance and operating a complex payroll
  • Ability to innovate and drive customer experience
  • Previous process improvement experience whilst managing BAU
