One of our clients, a major supplier of water. They provide a safe, reliable and affordable bulk drinking water supply for over 3.2 million people across Queensland. They are seeking an Operational Technology Architect Engagement for a 6-month contract.

 

Job: OT Architect Engagement

Location: Ipswich

Duration: Full time 6 Months with Possible extension

Position description:

 

Our client is seeking the services of a suitability qualified and experienced person

 

The OT Architect will provide support to OTE OT Lead Architect on:

  • OT-IT (site-based and inter-sites SCADA and control systems, LAN and WAN, Internet of Things (IoT) and cybersecurity) architecture planning, design, project engineering & project management, reviews, workshops, support, analyses and technical advice to Operational Technology (OT) related program of works across the Business, and primarily to the Operational Technology and Energy (OT&E) portfolio. This includes options analysis, prioritisation, preliminary design and scoping and business case development.
  • Implementation of relevant OT Strategy initiatives, including the implementation IoT Reference and Decision Framework.
  • Engagement across regional Operations and ICT teams to coordinate operations and maintenance input into operational technology architecture, standards and processes.
  • Preparing and updating documents including standards, technical reports, investigation reports, operations manuals, procedures and others
  • Undertake other duties, which are assigned from time to time by the Lead OT Architect

Additional information

  • Some intra site travel maybe required with the scope of works, our client will provide transport to and from sites.
  • This recruitment is being used to create a pool for future vacancies that may arise over the next 12 months.
