Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join a multidisciplinary and international agile team responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating the client's Global Customer Data Management solution. This is a long-term project with a financial client, and you'll be part of a team that develops high-speed, high-volume solutions that must be available 24/7.

About the role

As a Platform Engineer, you will be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from refining user stories to monitoring software in production. You will be part of a team that makes an impact on the client's strategy, serving retail, business, and wholesale client segments around the globe.

You will be responsible for:

• Continuously looking for ways to improve the platform and process.
• Challenging the status quo and offering improvements that lead to higher quality, ease of use, and maintainability.
• Designing reusable automations and tooling that can be leveraged by multiple projects.
• Solving problems, troubleshooting, managing incidents, and creating solutions.
• Performing various Ops-related tasks, including platform solutions, deployments, automations, and change and incident management.
• Being part of the on-call/standby schedule for support outside office hours.

Required skills and experience:

• Experience in a corporate and/or financial agile environment (DevOps, Scrum).
• Kubernetes (AKS) & Docker.
• Java background.
• Linux & Shell scripting.
• Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repo, Container Registry, Keyvault, feeds, and artifacts).
• Ansible and Infrastructure as Code.
• Observability (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus).

Nice to have skills:

• IT Risk background.
• Azure Cloud.
• Vulnerability management (SecOps background).
• Test Engineering.
• Chaos Engineering.
• Helm.
• S3.
• Springboot.
• Neo4j.
• Cassandra.
