Major Optical is currently looking for an Optometrist who is interested in working within a specialist independent practice West of Dunstable.

They strive to offer patients a comprehensive, high quality eye care experience with easy to understand advice and information.

This is a fantastic Optometrist opportunity to work within a unique independent practice that believe it is vital to offer customers the best optical services available in the industry to give patients unprecedented peace of mind when it comes to visual health.

Key Advantages

• Up to £60,000 (depending on experience) + professional fees

• 30-45 minute testing times

• Equipment: Optomap, Auto-phoropter, Trial frames, contact & non-contact tonometry, Henson VFA, Slit Lamp and a computerised management system

• 3 very spacious test rooms within a spacious and nicely presented working environment

• Specialist services: Myopia Management with integrated topography, Dry eye clinics, Glaucoma and cataract assessment, Hear care and specialist lenses Inc. Myopia control lenses

• A truly patient focused clinical environment with no commercial pressure

• Excellent support network with experienced well-established staff allowing you fully to concentrate on the needs of your patient

• Regular internal and external training and CET

• Offering patients a variety of designer brands and products with made to measure bespoke frames and lenses for ultimate clarity, comfort and style

Details and requirements

• Monday - Friday (09:00am - 17:30pm) Saturday (09:00am - 17:00pm)

• Closed Sundays & Bank Holidays

• Full or part time position considered

• Eligibility to work in the UK and GOC Registered

Salary and benefits

• Up to £60,000 (depending on experience)

• Pension + professional fees

• 25 Days Holiday + 8 BH (33 in total)
