Location: Cambridge, England
Salary: GBP50000 - GBP55000 per annum Industry: Medical Devices
Salary & Benefits: £55,000 & up to 17.5% annual bonus

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Engineer with experience in the medical device industry to join a world renowned medical device company based in Cambridge. The company develop a range of medical devices including their newest product, a first-of-its-kind smart device.
The successful Principal Engineer will be responsible for both the electrical and mechanical design of a range of both existing and new products. You would also be expected to create design history files and product specifications as well as implementing device mechatronics into production.
The role will be in a collaborative environment where you will be communicating with different teams all the way through the process.
Principal Engineer Requirements:
- Significant experience in Medical Device Development
- Degree educated in relevant discipline
- Experience designing PCBs for Medical Devices
- Experience in either of Labview or C programming would be a huge advantage
Principal Engineer Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design of Medical Devices, both mechanical and electrical
- Responsible for the creation of design history files
- The implementation of devices into production
