The Company
Core Talent are working with National company, who specialise in metal recycling, in their search for an experienced Maintenance Fitter who can work with an established team.
About the Role
This position requires a qualified and experienced Maintenance Fitter/Team Leader for our Maintenance Team, who have previous experience; working on mobile and fixed plant equipment in a heavy industrial environment; fault finding and diagnostic experience; preventative maintenance organisation and planning; a solid understanding of processes and maintenance procedures; the ability to deal with breakdown situations/requirements; highly motivated; embraces the challenges of and has the proven ability to work to deadlines and dedicated to quality.
The Shift
This is a permanent night shift with the following hours:
Monday to Friday - 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM
Saturday - 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Requirements and Responsibilities
- Australian recognised trade qualification
- Previous experience MIG, STICK and Oxy Cutting;
- Previous experience working on loaders, fixed plant including crushers, mills and conveyor systems would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in recycling manufacture would be an advantage
- Hydraulic experience would be desired
- Current Forklift License, Elevated Work Platform Ticket would be an advantage but not essential
- Punctual and Reliable
- Commitment to Health and Safety
- Ability to attain and retain fitness for work (including clear Drug and Alcohol Screens)
- Currently have the right to work in Australia
- Pass a Police Check
