The Company
We currently supporting an Australian owned waste management company based in Eastern Creek in their search for a Heavy diesel mechanic.
The Role
As a heavy diesel mechanic, you’ll be required to preform general upkeep and servicing tasks for the fleet vehicle, each day may be different so you’ll need to be flexible and organised in order to keep the fleet well maintained.
You will have access to a clean state of the art workshop where OH&S is at the highest standard.
Skills and Experience required:
- Must be heavy trade qualified/diesel
- Must have a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience
- Experience working on trucks is highly desirable
- Fleet management experience is essential for the role
- Hydraulic & Pneumatic experience
- A valid NSW drivers’ licence
- Maintain all aspects of equipment to the supplier’s standard or better.
- Test drive and/or operate equipment to ensure repair has been completed correctly.
- Ensure all hand tools and equipment are safe to use and stored correctly and in a clean condition.
- Complete all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required.
- Must have full valid work rights and currently reside in Australia
