General Hand – Labourer
The Company
We are currently working with an Australian owned private company that has been offering steel plate profiling and processing services since 1970.
The company stocks a large range, in different steel plate grades between 3mm-300mm, and operates the largest dedicated steel plate profiling and processing facilities in NSW. They have the capacity to cut over 50 tons of steel plate per day.
The Role
As a general hand you’ll have a variety of tasks relating to the production and manufacturing of steel products.
In order to fulfill this position, you’ll need to be physically fit and keen to learn, you’ll have full supervision but will need to be very aware of onsite health and safety for yourself and others.
Shift
- Monday – Friday 10am – 6:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Metal assembly work (Supervised)
- Heavy Lifting
- Housekeeping
- Health and Safety
Skills and Experience:
- Prior laboring or manufacturing experience
- Committed and eager to learn
- Switched on in a heavy and potentially higher risk environment
