Solicitor – Employment Health – Bristol – 4+ Years PQE
Location: Bristol

Salary: £65,000 – £80,000 (depending on experience)

A highly respected national law firm is seeking an Employment Health Associate with 4+ years’ post-qualification experience to join its top-tier Employment, Pensions & Immigration team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work with market-leading partners, manage complex litigation, and advise high-profile clients in the health and care sector, alongside opportunities in other key markets.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for:

  • Advising NHS organisations, independent healthcare providers, and voluntary sector operators on employment matters.
  • Managing complex litigation across tribunals, the EAT, Court of Appeal and High Court.
  • Supporting multi-disciplinary teams on TUPE, workforce issues, and transactional due diligence.
  • Delivering training and supporting client relationship management.
  • Supervising junior colleagues and contributing to business development.


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 4+ years PQE in employment law, ideally with health and care sector experience.
  • Strong litigation and/or advocacy skills, with confidence in managing complex cases.
  • TUPE and transactional experience, including drafting and advising on workforce aspects.
  • Experience in restructures, redundancy processes, and employee relations issues.
  • Strong technical and drafting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset.
  • Experience delivering training and supervising junior colleagues.
