Solicitor – Property Litigation (Social Housing) – Taunton – 0–3 Years PQE
Location: Taunton (with hybrid working)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full time
Salary: £48,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience)

A respected regional law firm is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor (0–3 years PQE) to join its specialist team in Taunton, with a particular focus on social housing work. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career lawyer to develop their expertise within a supportive, highly regarded department, working on meaningful matters that make a real social impact.

The Role
You will work on a broad range of property litigation matters relating to social housing, acting for:

  • Registered providers
  • Local authorities
  • Housing sector organisations


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
  • Supporting senior lawyers on complex or high value matters
  • Advising clients on housing management issues and disputes
  • Drafting pleadings, correspondence and legal documentation
  • Representing clients at court hearings and mediations where appropriate
  • Contributing to business development and client relationship initiatives


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a solicitor who:

  • Is a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 0–3 years’ PQE
  • Has experience of, or a strong interest in, property litigation and/or social housing law
  • Demonstrates strong drafting, organisational and communication skills
  • Is proactive, collaborative and committed to excellent client service
  • Shares the firm’s values and delivers practical, high quality legal advice
