Location: Bristol (Hybrid/Remote options available)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience)
A respected law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy Conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied caseload, work with modern legal technology, and enjoy flexible working arrangements in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a caseload of residential property matters, including:
- Advising clients on all aspects of the buying and selling process (legal issues, finances, contracts)
- Maintaining case management workflows and ensuring real-time updates are provided to all parties
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, title documents, and related paperwork
- Conducting due diligence and risk assessments in line with firm policies
- Providing legal guidance and support to clients throughout the conveyancing journey
- Assisting the Exchange & Completions Team with queries
- Ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures
- Supporting the development of junior team members and contributing to the firm’s culture
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor, CILEX lawyer, or licensed conveyancer with:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing as a fee earner
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High standards of client care with a professional and approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage deadlines
- Strong business development skills with local property sector contacts
- Understanding of legal technology and its integration into conveyancing processes
- Interest in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team growth
- Excellent IT skills and adaptability to modern, innovative working practices
