Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with flexible working options)
Salary: £110,000 to £150,000 (dependent on experience and client following)

A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Pensions Partner or Director to join its highly regarded Employment, Pensions & Immigration practice. The team advises employers, trustees and individuals across the full spectrum of pensions matters, including defined benefit and defined contribution schemes, governance and regulatory compliance, scheme documentation, corporate transactions, restructurings, PPF related processes and public sector arrangements.

The Role
You’ll play a key strategic role within a growing national pensions practice, including:

  • Leading and developing client relationships across a broad UK-wide portfolio
  • Advising on complex and high value pensions matters across DB and DC schemes
  • Supporting clients on governance, regulatory compliance and scheme documentation
  • Working closely with employment and corporate teams on transactional and strategic projects
  • Contributing to national practice development and thought leadership
  • Helping shape the direction and growth of a high performing team
  • Bringing an established and transferable client following to support continued expansion


Candidate Requirements
This senior appointment is suited to an individual with:

  • A recognised market profile within pensions law
  • Significant experience at Director or Partner level
  • A proven track record of winning work and sustaining long term client relationships
  • Strong technical expertise across the full range of pensions matters
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver pragmatic, solutions focused advice
  • A collaborative, inclusive and forward thinking approach
  • An established client following capable of supporting practice growth
