Associate – Landlord & Tenant – Bristol – NQ+
Location: Bristol (Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (Part-time considered)
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 (dependent on experience)
A growing and forward thinking legal services provider is seeking an Associate to join its established Landlord & Tenant team, part of a wider Volume Litigation department. This role offers the chance to manage your own caseload, develop specialist expertise, and work within a supportive, high performing environment without the traditional constraints of a private practice model.
Landlord & Tenant Caseload
You will handle a varied and busy caseload of Landlord & Tenant disputes, managing matters from initial instruction through to resolution. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing your own caseload end to end
- Negotiating claims to successful and cost effective outcomes
- Delivering excellent client service and maintaining high professional standards
- Identifying and reporting risks relating to claims and the business
- Meeting SLA, KPI, financial, and performance targets
- Sharing knowledge and best practice with colleagues
- Supporting a culture of efficient and effective case handling

Candidate Profile
Applications are welcomed from motivated legal professionals with experience in Landlord & Tenant disputes and a commitment to delivering excellent customer outcomes. Key attributes include:
- Strong knowledge of Landlord & Tenant law and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, KPIs, and SLAs
- Proactive approach to managing a caseload to a high standard
- Understanding of the SRA Code of Conduct
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Collaborative mindset and exceptional client care skills
- Resilience and motivation to perform well in a busy environment
